Our Trip Back East....

Jeff and I went back east the end of September. Jeff was in a competition for work. I met up with him and we saw the sites of D.C. That was quite a lot of walking but the views were so worth it. We went from the Capital all the way across to the Lincoln Memorial. Started just before dusk and ended in the dark. We took advantage of being in a new place and trying new food. Jeff found a great "hole in the wall" pizza place that was his favorite. I know can say I've tried seafood and can say I do NOT like it. Things are so fast paced there, people always running around us to catch the next metro train. But I will day that is the only way to travel back there. We took another day to go to Arlington Cemetery. We timed it just right we were able to see the changing of the guards. That was so cool. I wish I could post the video we got of it. To think that they are so chosen to do that job. What an honor they have. Next we were off to the white house. That was neat to see but I was kinda disappointed by the lack of respect shown around it. Just the same I'd really like to see the inside!
