Summer Fun!

So I know we are a little behind but we have been outside enjoying the SUMMER! We've had a few really hot days but for the most part it's been tolerable. We've been able to go camping a couple of times. The boys really enjoy being able to get out & ride their bikes. This past weekend we went somewhere we had camped before. It turned out we didn't get the best camp spot but we found that we had a lot of places to ride the motorbikes. Tyson has learned to ride his pedal bike without training wheels. So he of course asked if he could have a turn on the motorbike. He did AWESOME! He still needs a little more strength to lift the bike but he can ride really well. We enjoyed hanging out with our friends Thomas & Anette. They are a lot fun to go camping with. We're getting rested up to make a road trip to Mesa Verde, Four Corners & Durango the first week of August. It should be really neat to see & do, I'll make sure to take lots' of pictures!
Here are a few fun pictures we took this past weekend.

June Activities

We had a busy month of June. Notice I had to use the word HAD cause it is now JULY! Holy cow Summer Vacation for the boys is almost over! I have mixed feelings about this. Anyway, we went camping with our friends the second weekend. That was a lot of fun we just hung out and rode the bikes around. Then the next weekend I took a trip all on my own to Boise to my in-laws. Jeff's brother Mike & his wife Teresa are expecting a baby in December. So his mom had a baby shower for them. Little explanation...They live in Mexico so they had to visit before she starts to show too much. I guess that makes it difficult to travel out of the country. It was great to have a little break away from the boys. Then the day after I got back we had Scout Day Camp. This was Brandon's last year as a Cub Scout so next year he may end up being a Boy Scout Leader for the younger boys. Tyson is not old enough to join the church pack but he REALLY wanted to start scouts. So we signed him up in a school pack. He was able to attend as a first year. He really likes it. They both are really into the BB Shooting & Archery. We discovered that Tyson will probably be better shooting with his left eye like me. I'll have to share my guns with him! :) That's just fine though. Since Brandon is a Webelo they had an overnight on the Friday after day camp ended. I went and stayed with Him & Brandon. Jeff was a party pooper and stayed home with Ryan. Oh well we still had fun except for the Mosquitos! Well I think that takes care of June. Now onto July, we don't have quite as much planned but I'm sure we'll take lots' of bike rides. All 3 boys offically ride without training wheels! I can't wait another year or so we can all ride the trails at Moab! I'm starting now to get back in shape so I can keep up! :) Scout Camp June 2010
