Just an update.....

Things have been kinda crazy since the 4th of July. The boys all got sick a few days after we got home. So we weren't able to go camping with Jeff's mom & dad as planned. Jeff's dad has cancer and is going through chemo. His immune system is very weak. We would feel terrible if the kids got him sick. So we hung out that weekend taking care of them. This past Sunday we bought a new stove & dishwasher. (the ones this home came with weren't the best). Around 6PM Jeff was in the garage getting things ready to go pick up the stove. He came back in the house for about 10 minutes. He was headed out the garage to Home Depot when he encountered a teenage boy going through his tool box. The kid took an Air Pistol. Jeff chased the boy down the street while calling the police. So after the police arrived I had to go and pick up our stove. After Jeff ID'd him and made his statement they were able to arrest the kid. Turns out he is only 17. We'll see how it turns out I guess. They are gonna try to try him as an adult. A lot of unwanted excitement. Then yesterday I had a little accident where I kicked my foot into the wall. I'm still not certain if I broke any toes. All 4 smaller ones are swollen and starting to color. The worst part is I have to walk on it for like 5 hours at work! I think that gets us all caught up. We are looking forward to a couple of BBQs & Brandon getting back to school! :)

Water Fun!

We went to a fountain for playgroup last week. The boys had a lot of fun. I took a few fun pictures of them. It has been pretty hot the past few weeks and this is a great "free" way for us to cool off.

4th of July Activities

Our weekend started by taking the boys to the Water area at the outdoor mall. It was a nice way to cool off. Then on Friday morning the scouts did a Flag Ceremony & Pancake Breakfast at the church. Brandon was very honored & excited to participate in the ceremony. Then we finished up packing for our camping trip. We had a good time camping and making some new friends. The kids enjoyed the wide open spaces. We did get some rain while there but it was really nice to cool things off. We came home Sunday afternoon. It was an all around great weekend!

Flag Ceremony

We are so grateful to all those who serve and have served our country. We take for granted sometimes our freedom. I'm so glad that I live in this free country! Thanks to all my family & friends who have sacrificed for our family! We love & Miss you all!
