Sick kids again....

We have been pretty boring the past few days. I think we are all done shopping for Christmas. Brandon is out of school for 2 weeks, that will be a great help considering the other 2 are sick. Tyson started it on Tuesday he said his belly hurt. I then gave him a bath and he said the water hurt his ears. This sent off an alarm, ear infection! He has had quite a few over his short 4 1/2 years. So I take his temp and he has a fever. Alright time to take him in. I called my visiting teaching partner and canceled our Thursday morning appointments so I could take him in. His ears are fine! His throat though not so much, he has strep. Poor kid. He is doing better since the medicine. Then this Saturday morning Ryan wakes up awnry and cranky not wanting to eat. He has a small fever and swollen throat. He drank some blue gatorade and sat on my lap. He then gagged and threw it all up on us. He went to the dr. today at 10 and he has an ear infection, possibly strep but the antibiotic will treat both. Please pray that this will be the end of this til after the holidays! Hopefully Jeff, Brandon & I will not get it. Sorry for the not so exciting post. I really am getting excited for the Holiday. Jeff's brother and his fiance are coming up on Christmas Eve and gonna hang out for a couple of days with us. It should be a lot of fun! Hope you all have a great holiday! :)

Happy Birthday to Jeff!

I'm a little late posting this, but we have been very busy the past couple of days. Friday the 12th was Jeff's B-day. He is now 34 years young! I had to work that night so we made plans for Saturday night. Our friends Thomas & Annette have a daughter that is just getting old enough to babysit. We had her watch our kids and Isaiah at our house while we went out to dinner. We ate at Texas Roadhouse for the first time. The food was good and it was great to catch up with Thomas & Annette. We then opened Jeff's gifts and had cake & ice cream. It was a very busy but fun weekend. Jeff I hope you had a great B-day and many more to come! I love you lots'! Most of you know how much Jeff loves to have his picture taken. I was able to sneak a few of him opening his gifts. He was trying really hard to not look at me! :)

I got some new scrap booking software over Thanksgiving. I've been playing with it ever since. I really like it. So the background and header you see on my blog was created by me! :) Whatcha think?... I kinda like it. Hope everyone is having a fun & safe holiday season so far.

My family, friends, good food & a nice warm house. It has been a while since I posted but we just got back from a trip to Utah. We were planning to go visit but we got word that my grandpa passed away on Sunday. So thankfully our plans changed to include his services. We will miss him a lot but I know that he is with my Grandma now and in a much happier place. Because of the services we got to see some of my family who we wouldn't have otherwise. It was a great chance to catch up and see how they are all doing. I can't believe how big my nieces & nephews have gotten. They were a lot of fun to play with. We decided while the whole gang was in town to take an updated picture that includes all the newbies. It was so good to see everyone. We miss Utah a lot too. Overall we had a great Thanksgiving and are very grateful for all our many blessings. We hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving too. Tonight we got out the Christmas decor. The kids had a lot of fun hanging the ornaments.
