Brandon's B-day

Brandon turned 9 this past week on the 10th. Wow how time flies! I can't believe it was that long ago we had a little 3lb 10oz preemie. He has grown into the healthy, smart & sweet young boy! I love him so much he makes me so proud. He wanted to have a party with some friends from school & scouts. Found out that one of his scout friends was gonna have his party the same day. So the two of them decided to combine the party. It was a lot of fun! We miss having the family parties. He is getting to old to just stay at home he says. He had fun opening his gifts too. It was a long but fun day.

Happy Birthday to Me & My sister!

So my sister Stephanie & I had a birthday on September 5th. I know she is gonna be 30 next year but you see I'm only gonna be 21! We have had a lot of fun over the years sharing our b-days. She was so kind as to post a great tribute to embarrass the both of us. I had to laugh and think oh those were the 80's. You should check it out if you need a good laugh. She is in my list of friends. I don't mind having loved ones to share my parties with. It makes it more fun! Steph, I hope you had a great day! I enjoyed mine. I celebrated on Saturday cause I had to work the Friday evening. I went and did some fun crafting with a couple of friends then Jeff's brother Paul & his fiance Elizabeth came down from Boulder to babysit. We went out to dinner and a comedy show. It was nice to have a date, forget what that is like. Oh and my sweet husband and my boys gave me a Scroll Saw & cake (store bought). Jeff said he wanted me to be able to eat it :) All in all it was a great time.

Labor Day weekend Fun

We took a drive to the Aurora Reservoir. They have the beach for water fun and a 8 mile paved path all that goes all the way around it. We took our bikes and the trailer for the little ones. I was a lot of fun. Oh I forgot to mention, I have the bike trailer attached to my bike. So I was pulling around 100 extra pounds. Needless to say I was well over worked so didn't make it very far. After the short ride we went and played on the beach & in the cold water. Brandon & Ryan didn't get in the water much, they were too cold. Tyson didn't care he was having too much fun to get cold. I have to have two towels when I shower, one for my hair & one for my body. 3. I always put lotion on right after I get dry from the shower. 4. I have to cover up with a blanket to sleep, even in the heat of summer. 5. I wear flip flops & Sandals all year long. Mostly cause they are the only slip ons I have besides slippers. 6. I eat ice cream for breakfast sometimes. I asked Jeff & we wasn’t much help. He just said I always wear 2 tank tops. Which he is the only one who thinks it is weird! Boys at Splash Park....

Last week at play group we went to the splash park. It was super nice weather, not too hot or cold. The boys had such a good time. I took a few pictures to share. They have made a new friend named Jace. They all play really well together it is awesome. Enjoy.
