Sunday Surprise

Last weekend we got a few inches of snow here in Denver. Sunday morning it looked like it was done. Jeff & the boys went out to "play" (Shovel) in it. I proceeded to stay in a get ready for church. I had to finish up the last of my talk. When I went out to tell the boys they needed to get dressed for church this is what I found.....Jeff & Ryan had decided to build a snowman after they had shoveled the driveway. Ryan had came in asking me if he could have a carrot. I gave him 3, he ate them all waiting for Jeff to get the head on. So that is why the snowman has a rock for a nose. I also asked why the snowman had no hat or gloves. Their response was none of them wanted to give up theirs for the snowman. Also last week Brandon had his 4th Grade 1st quarter awards assembly. He got 2 awards, one for perfect attendance & the other was honors. He has been working really hard at school and he's doing a great job. Honors means he got all A's & 1B. Some of you might know Brandon was tested and scored as Gifted & Talented. This means they give him more challenging work. His school does a great job at making sure he stays where he is comfortable. I think sometimes he wishes he wasn't cause he does get stressed out. But We're so proud of him he is such a smart, outgoing and fun kid.

Halloween 2009

The boys had a great time trick or treating and meeting some new friends. Brandon really wanted to be Harry Potter but with me being out sick the week before I wasn't able to get it all together. He decided to be a vampire instead it was quick & easy. Ryan decided to be the "black Spider-man". We didn't let anyone explain that he is the evil spider-man. Just to keep him from being bummed out. They got a bunch of candy too. I hope my dad had a great B-day, he has a Halloween b-day. We love you lots' Dad & Grandpa!
