Boy Scout Day Camp June 2008

Brandon went scout day camp all last week. He had a really good time, they did a lot of different things each day. They did a crafts, shot BB Guns and Bows with arrows, learned how to play Volleyball & how to cook outdoors. I was able to take the 2 little guys with and be a guide on Thursday. It was fun to see them learning but yet having fun. Brandon has discovered how much he really likes to shoot a bow & arrow. He is a pretty good shot too. Here are a few of the pictures I took the day I went. We're going camping this upcoming weekend, so we want to tell you all Happy 4th Of July a little early! I'll have some pictures of the trip when we get back.

Our Last Couple of Weekends.....

We have been pretty busy having some fun family time. The weekend before last we went to a fair for the trails and recreation. We wanted to get some mountain biking trail info for this area. Not like Utah we can't just ride up the mountain across the street. :( While we were there they had a booth with some neat animals/insects. We had a chance to ride around the park a little. It was nice to have the day together. Then this weekend we decided for Father's Day to go camping. We found this place last year and it is nice cause it had enough area away from the road for the little boys to ride. We took all the bikes. Brandon got a Honda 70 a few months ago. This was his first trip to learn to ride it. He did really well! We got all setup and My 4 wheeler wouldn't start. Big Bummer for me cause no way I will ever get on Jeff's Big Motorbike. Brandon was nice enough to let me putt around camp on his though. I think I know now that I'll stick the 4wheelers. All in all it was a very good trip. Jeff's parents are coming to town the weekend after the 4th of July and we're gonna take them camping, We can't wait to go again!

Well where do I start? I was in the middle of cleaning up the kitchen. Brandon was suppose to be cleaning his room. As most of you who are parents know when they get quiet you better go check to see what they are in to. So I had that feeling and as I was walking to the room I hear Ryan say" Tyson draw on wall!" So I think great they have got a hold of the crayons again. Well not exactly, they got into Brandon's Acrylic Paint set and painted all over his bedroom wall. I was so upset I started to clean then realized that I should probably take a picture. I didn't get a picture of them in the act but this is their masterpiece! I hope I will get to the point where I find it funny & cute :)

Just a few pictures to share....

I took the kids to the park to get them out of Jeff's hair. He has been very sick for the past week. So I just wanted to share a few of the pictures I took. Then Sunday Ryan decided to be a big helper. He offered to vacuum the rug. He loves the vacuums for some reason. It took him about 20 minutes to finish the area rug. But he did a great job! And we noticed that he liked to use his tongue to help him concentrate! It is too cute not to share!
