I haven't posted in a very LoNG time! Things have been busy and my computer had to have work done so I lost a couple weeks getting it fixed. Anyway, we haven't done anything overly exciting. But Brandon started 4th grade and can you believe Tyson started Kindergarten? Next year Ryan will start school & I'm not sure what I'll do with myself! It will be tough, I already feel super OLD.
Tyson was so ready to Be like Brandon
I took the little kids that aren't in school to the Botanic Gardens for the "free" Day. We have been trying to do little preschool lessons with them, so we learned about G that week. A field trip to the gardens was fun. They didn't get too excited about seeing flowers. But they are in the process of building a Greenhouse. The boys had to stop & look through the window at the Tractors & Trucks. I'm sure this was the highlight for them. Then this past week we had our Scout Rain Gutter Rugatta. This is where the boys make a sail boat and then race then in rain gutters by blowing the sail. It was a lot of fun to see how creative they can be. Brandon had fun making his. This was also Brandon's last pack meeting as a Bear. He earned his badge and when he turns 10 in the next couple weeks he will be a Webelo! He is having a lot of fun with scouts. I hope he continues to enjoy it, I think it has had a great influence on him. Well I think that is all that I missed. We're hoping to make a trip up to Rocky Mountain National Park next weekend and do some hiking! I can't wait, I love to see new places!

More Summer Fun

This past week I took the kids to a couple new parks just to get some variety. The first park had a climbing wall that the boys just couldn't get enough of. It also has a cool dinosaur skeleton to climb on. Then the Central Park we went to was HUGE. They had almost every type fun, from regular play ground to fountains to splash in. Friday Jeff left for Boise. His brother Mike got married yesterday. Things didn't work out so that we could all go. I hope everything went well and he had a lot of fun. I wish we could've all gone. I was trying to figure out what to do with the boys while he was gone. Then my friend Samantha invited us to go up to Mount Falcon Park for hike. It wasn't too far of a drive and it was a neat little historical site. We only hiked about a mile but it was more than enough for the little ones. We had a picnic lunch after, it was a very neat place. I'm sure we'll have to take Jeff when he gets back. We could even ride our bikes on the one trail next time. Thanks Samantha for inviting us it was a lot of fun! I can't believe how fast summer is going by. They start school on August 12th. Crazy huh.
