Father's Day

We hope all the fathers out there had a great day on Sunday! We had a very busy weekend. Jeff's brother Paul was married on Saturday. We had a great time & it was a blast to see all the family. It was a lot of fun catching up with them. My friend Teri did a photo shoot with the boys so we could get Jeff some updated pictures. They turned out GREAT! She is the best, thanks a bunch Teri. Here are a few of what we got of the boys. I'm still working on the pictures from the wedding. You can click on them to see them larger!

Catching Up.....

We have been rather busy the past few weeks. We have spent the last few weekends installing a fence around our backyard. I have to say I think it turned out GREAT! Jeff did the hard part digging and putting in the posts. Brandon & Tyson had fun with the drill putting in the screws. I think I did like 500 squats helping put up the pickets. It was well worth it though. While working on it the kids would ask why we needed a fence & we would tell them so they had a nice yard to play in. Then the subject of a dog came up. We ended up telling the kids that when the fence was complete we would look at getting a dog. We found a cutie, but the catch was she was in Utah. My awesome sister, Shanna made the trip to Salt Lake to pick her up for us. Then took care of her for 2 weeks til we could make the trip over Memorial Weekend. We made a quick trip to Utah to pick up our newest family member, Josie. She is about 11 weeks old now, a Husky/Malamute mix. She is getting along great with the boys. As for Maya that is another story. She just wants to play with Maya, which involves chasing her into a corner or up the fence. Hopefully as time goes on they'll do better. Last Friday was Brandon's Field day at school. They basically had a few different outdoor activities. Each group got to rotate through the different stations. He almost won the 3-legged race but he and his partner became disconnected right at the finish line. They were able to play with the Giant Parachute. Tyson & Ryan had the chance to join in, they LOVED it! Tyson was a little nervous being around all the bigger kids. Hopefully come fall when it is time for Kindergarten he'll do alright. They also got do some hula hooping. Brandon did pretty well, he even got to use a Giant Hula Hoop. Tyson & Ryan just couldn't get it so Jeff helped them use their arms. One of the last challenges was Hurdles. They all did great! I got some really fun pictures of them. We're looking forward to a less busy weekend and a little BBQ. Then the 10th is Brandon's last day of school for the summer. Can you believe it is June already!
