About half way through our stay in D.C. we had a dinner cruise on the Potomac river.
The dinner was really fancy. Probably really awesome to people who have a love for seafood. The cruising part was great too we were able to walk out along the deck and feel the breeze and see all the sights. Well worth it! I'm so glad we went for it! Well after D.C. We headed up to Philadelphia to see the sights there and get a real Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. We didn't get to see much as far as the national sites cause they wanted an arm and leg to get in and the price for parking was crazy. So we went to the Franklin Institute of Science. Now this was a lot of fun and very interesting. It really makes you realize how smart that man really was. We owe a lot to him. After we had our cheese steak sandwiches we were off to New Jersey. We stayed in a town named Mt Laurel. The town was neat and we had the best brick oven pizza ever! We were off to Newark, NJ to see the Statue of Liberty. We took a Ferry ride over to the actual liberty Island. That was really neat we could see New York just across the river. I must say that statue is truely amazing! I wish we would've known to plan better and been able to go inside. But to stand just below it was neat too. It was great to see the east coast and all the historical monuments and buildings, but we are glad we live where we live in the west. I hope you all enjoy the pictures!
